Sometimes it’s easier to say “I’m fine” than face the truth. That phrase became a shield from questions I couldn’t face. Was I honest, or just performing strength? Looking at these photos, I wonder: was I hiding, or showing what words couldn’t? Silence speaks. Maybe this series is where pain hides.
