Love Is For Losers Humans as a cultural whole are incensed in this idea of true love or monogamy. Why? Because those tumultuous relationships are much of the acme that makes up humanity. We are ugly, messy, and primal creatures hell bent on the idea that we deserve something. We all want to own something that doesn’t have the capacity or capability to tell us they don’t actually like or love us. I’m thinking 1950s Stepford housewife shit. Or having a pet. So why do I envision a love/property that isn’t reciprocated? So why does it feel like I had gotten half way up the mountain only to have my mountaineer partner push me off the ledge? And then offer a helping hand? Maybe humans aren’t meant to be mates for life? When I think I’m doing the right thing something comes along and pulls wool over my eyes to let the wolf in my home. How do I kill the wolf within? Kinda corny to relate to a wolf like some edgelord but what else can be said? A bear? A tiger? A lion? Somebody call Dorothy cause her pets are out and fucking shit up for me. Maybe the wolf isn’t me but the love/property that wishes to claim me as its love/property. A lot of maybes here. Can I set my future in stone?
