Van Gogh Vase with Five sunflowers, 1888/9 Lost in 1945 to Allied bombing of Japan The loss is a huge shame, this is my favourite of the sunflower series - the contrasts and shapes are wild! I have in mind a tribute - I think the forms and colours will gel perfectly with my own style. 🎨
