Haha feeling like a socially awkward teen because my content is getting no engagement, and while thinking realized that ‘Collective’ exhibits exactly why Folsom exists. Where are the BLACK people? Where are the heavily dark skinned people? Where are the women with beards and hairs on their chest? The hermaphrodite? The disabled? This app feels good! But it’s like western prejudice on steroids. It’s like the Stepford Wives but in color blocked ‘fits and just-the-perfectly-cropped-photo of this skin color lol I get it. We want to be safe. We don’t want to be hurt. Sticking out feels bad. But it’s as edgy in here as a butter knife lol.. I went to an alternative-grunge straight club and was thrilled by the possibilities of the unknown- yknow what I mean? If you only follow what you “like” you don’t grow. You form mold and mildew on your soul. Yknow? Which is fine I guess ..mold made antibiotics, ancient holiness brought health codes.
