I could do with some advice! I’ve got a friend who I’ve had some issues with. We met while I was looking for a room in 2022 and ended up living together for nearly two years. It was great to start with but then over time we had our issues from small things like washing up to bigger things like him lying to me constantly and generally eroding my trust in him. There was more drama earlier this year that led to an honest conversation. After more time apart we were in a good place. However, in the last week it feels like we’ve gone backwards. I’m pretty sure he’s been lying to me, he’s once again proven I can’t trust him, and he made some crass comments during a night out on Saturday. I’ve spent the last few days feeling quite angry. Considering everything I’m at the end of my rope. I just don’t have any trust in him or think that he genuinely cares for or respects me. I’ve never had to cut a friend out of my life as I’m considering doing though I’m wary of doing that. It feels very dramatic! And I feel if I do that I should explain myself rather than not say anything at all. Or is it better to just draw the line and walk away? What do people think?
