So despite plenty of new album dropped this year i feel as if we’re constantly bombarded with a need to consume music rather than celebrate how musicians go through so much and might not actually end up giving or creating something they like, yes people are giving their opinions right and left about BRIGHTER DAYS, MAYHEM etc but there’s a lack of emotional depth and immersive connection with the artist, honestly i want someone to comment on a track and make it sound like they have been stabbed in the chest when they first heard that song 🎧! and let’s be clear, sometimes when a moment is too enchantingly intense we can remember in details what went through our minds while at it, and to me, since people don’t really dwell on that contextual experience, the listening experience is getting more and more illusive and absurd, so much that i’am just listening to older tracks and not telling anyone about them if their mere idea of an album is about it eating or not, BRING BACK DRAMA 🎭
