Just as important it is to have friends that uplift you I also think it’s important to have friends that remind you that you really aren’t the main character. Some people will live much more lavish lives, much crazier lives, and much more interesting lives than you in general, and i think it’s important to keep these people close because yeah you can draw inspiration from them but they also keep you grounded in a way that can’t exist when you think you’re the main character.
