Being reminded of fathers day, which is not really a thing in my country, it got me thinking about the complicated relationship I have had with my dad through the years. I think not longer than two days ago I managed to forgive him in my own heart and mind. During my childhood years I’ve had to “raise” him and he has finally realized how that has affected me. We can finally see each other on a deeper level and understand both of our worlds. At last I don’t resent him anymore. I love you dad ❤️
