Vanishing Am I being swallowed, or have I simply yielded to the seduction of the firmament? No soul was fashioned to be manipulated—not even by its own hand. These vessels that bear our essence are fading into the blank fog. Some have already dissolved into the unseen. Flesh departs alone, but the spirit leaves as starlight does—never truly extinguished, only returned to the boundless heavens from which it first dreamed. Yet, for a fleeting moment, we linger, encapsulated in boundless light, reluctant to return to the ground—as though the heavens had whispered our true names, and the earth no longer remembered them.

Alaska adventures
In a few seconds, the scent of you will disappear. The warm sweetness of maple nectar, once a home for everything we were, will dissolve into the air, leaving the world a shade dimmer than how we found it. Quietly kneading time under the folds of the rug, while flesh bares the cost of growing older. I wonder how anyone can unstitch a soul from the fabric it has lived in. Tell me—what becomes of all these memories when the one who made them is gone, and we are left to pick up the pieces alone? -a piece of Me
A small stream flows through a lush green forest. A person can be seen in the distance on a path surrounded by trees.
Shall I cascade into your crystal waters and shed the season that has withered within me? I cannot carry what no longer belongs to me, so in your gentle current, make me new. Let me awaken with the Spring—verdant, radiant, and alive—drawing your quintessence deep into my roots, as though I had always been meant to bloom beside you.
A dramatic seascape shows dark, stormy clouds gathering in the sky above a vast, dark ocean. The horizon line is barely visible as the turbulent sea meets the ominous sky.
I will not tame this brooding storm merely to appease you, while you sail my waters time and again with such discourtesy. You cloak my light from those who would behold it with reverence, only to bend it toward your own selfish designs. I refuse to be dimmed for the comfort of ungracious spectators who mistake my radiance for something they are entitled to possess.
A vibrant sunset paints the sky with fiery oranges and yellows, reflecting on the calm ocean waters. Mountains frame the horizon, with a distant town and an industrial pier in the foreground.
