You know every time they have a new flavor of the week, month(s), or maybe year (but rarely) they suddenly are attached at the hip and can’t go anywhere or do anything unless their other half can/wants to go or do the thing? If so, follow up question: How many times do y’all go through the process before you chop the friendship? Asking for a friend?

Safe space: One time when I was in high school I saw this girl eating either tuna fish or egg salad with chucks of pickles in it. I laughed and told her that was weird and she gave me the weirdest look and looked at me like I was the dumbass. And she was correct I didn’t make the connection (an embarrassing amount of YEARS later) that relish and pickles are one and the same. And I think about that every time I used relish and cringe a little bit. I’ve never told anyone.
