What I want is to be able to more fluidly move between gender expressions, but I don’t see myself ever fully transitioning tbh. Let’s see where this journey takes me!

I think one of the hardest parts about moving to a new city is not having friends. Besides my boyfriend I don’t have anyone to hang out and do stuff with. And god damn is it hard to make friends as an adult.

I’m not sure how much longer I can deal with my job. It’s a company that is essentially built on micromanagement. But what really gets to me is that they do not value creative problem solving or thinking outside the box which clashes with me on a core level. The job market is next to impossible right now and honestly I don’t know what to do at this point.

To be honest I have always hated (and I mean HATED) the Rent film from 2005. I always said “I would do it differently.” And I finally decided to. I’ve been working on several screenplays for a while now, but this is the one I love the most. I’m done up to the end of act one. I’m typing on my computer the other day and my brother asks what I’m working on. I say oh nothing. My step-sister asks what borough of NY I live in again. I say Brooklyn. “Ok, so it’s either a screenplay or a script.” 😒 All that is to say, I’ve been working on a screenplay. Any industry people on here?

I love living in NYC but I’m a New England girly through and through. I just miss my little Massachusetts coastal towns so much sometimes.
