Sunset in Corsica with the amazing @nsupersponge ☀️ 🌊 😎
A man stands in the ocean at night, silhouetted against the moonlight reflecting on the water. The full moon shines brightly in the dark, cloudy sky above a distant coastline.
The last four weeks have been giving. ✨ Hamburg → Paris → London → Manchester → Zürich → Genève → Corsica. New people, unexpected moments, good friends — and last night, a full moon swim to say thank you for all of it. 🌕🌊 Feeling grateful.
A man with a beard and stubble wears a baseball cap and a textured button-down shirt as he stands on a city street at night. He is looking towards the camera with a slight smile.
Paris la nuit. On my way to the metro after a beautiful evening. ✨
A moment that feels like home. ❤️🌈🥂
I joined the vigil in Hamburg after the attack in Berlin. One message stayed with me: We are here. We are queer. Get used to it. Many of us had to ask ourselves early on who we are and how we want to live. Choosing to live authentically shouldn’t be political—but it is de facto. We won’t disappear. We won’t be quieter. We’ll keep showing up for each other. ❤️💅🌈✊🏼🥂

Sometimes the best souvenir is seeing yourself through someone else’s lens. Thanks for the adventure and the photo, @halfpersianboy 😊
A crowd of people dance on a boat at night during a festival. The boat is illuminated with blue and white lights, and the sky above is dark with clouds.
Who knew the best dance floor at the festival would be a boat?
Where should life take me next? I still have five months of my sabbatical ahead of me. I’d rather stay a little longer than see a little more. If our paths cross this summer in Europe – or later this year somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere: I’d happily slow down for a coffee, a hike, or a few days together.
A man with sunglasses and stubble smiles at the camera on a sandy beach. He is shirtless, showing off his chest hair, with trees and the ocean in the background.
Where do you feel most like yourself?
The sun shines through a thick layer of clouds over a calm ocean, with waves gently lapping at a sandy beach in Tofino.
Tofino. What’s the one beautiful place you‘ve visited, that wasn’t all ‚good weather‘ vibes?
A man stands on a set of stairs leading down to a beach in Vancouver. He is wearing shorts, a patterned button-down shirt that is unbuttoned, sunglasses, and a baseball cap. The sun is shining brightly, casting a lens flare across the image.
Arrived in Vancouver. Feeling surprisingly at home in my own skin.
A book titled "LES RACINES SECONDAIRES" by Vincent Fortier sits next to a bagel with salmon and onion, a mug, and a teapot filled with tea. The scene is set by a window with a colorful mural visible in the background.
Some books arrive at exactly the right moment. Which one has stayed with you lately?
A view of Montreal's cityscape through a window, with tall modern buildings and older brick structures visible behind lush green trees under a clear blue sky.
Bonjour sunny Montreal. Let’s get lost a little.
A row of large, colorful abstract paintings by Hilma af Klint hang on a wall in a museum. The paintings feature geometric shapes, swirls, and vibrant colors against orange backgrounds, showcasing a unique spiritual and modern art style.
Some people spend their lives trying to fit into the world they inherited. Others quietly create a new one. Hilma af Klint was one of them.

packed. barely awake. ready.

Week one of my sabbatical. My travel companion has strong opinions about the itinerary and refuses to contribute financially.
Heading to Montreal and Vancouver soon. What’s the one place you’d take someone on their first day in your city? Could be a café, a bookstore, a hike, a beach, a bar, or just a favorite corner of town.
A man wearing a green 'Out of Office' hat and a beard smiles as he holds the brim of his hat. He is shirtless and appears to be outdoors near a body of water.
31.05.26 – starting my 5 month long sabbatical ✨
A little Swiss chapter. 🇨🇭✨ Thanks for showing me your Switzerland, @zrh81! Zürich, Genève, great conversations, and a beautiful time. Grateful for the memories!
Manchester, good art & even better company. Thanks for showing me your Manchester, @jonauk! Three art galleries, great conversations, and a photo I’ll happily keep. 💚
A view of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, framed by buildings and a bright blue sky. Graffiti is visible on one of the buildings in the foreground.
Un été à Paris. ☀️
300,000 people choosing visibility over fear. Strong speeches. Open hearts. So much love. Seeing the Berlin CSD truck join Hamburg Pride was a powerful reminder: Community doesn’t stop at borders. Love is stronger. ✊🏼💅🌈❤️
Four hours uphill. Summer heat. Curious cows. A swim in crystal-clear water on the way back. Worth every step.
A person's legs are visible in the foreground, with a dramatic sky and clouds overhead. The image captures a serene evening scene by the water.
Some evenings don’t ask for much. Just a tired dog, a dramatic sky, and nowhere else to be.
A close-up, low-angle shot of a man's bare legs and feet as he walks away from the camera on a rubberized surface. He is wearing dark shorts and appears to be on a rooftop gym or park with urban buildings in the background.
One journey ended. Another one is just getting started.
Sometimes the most beautiful thing you can do is stay until the light changes.
Apparently, I have a type.
A man stands in a lush, moss-covered forest, looking up at the canopy. He is wearing a casual button-down shirt, shorts, a hat, and holding a small bag.
Yesterday started among trees older than most countries. A few hours later, I was watching football with thousands of people downtown. Same city.
A skyscraper with a dark glass facade reflects the warm lights of another building. Trees line the street below, with glimpses of streetlights and building entrances.
Some places surprise you. Some people do, too.
A man in a t-shirt and shorts sits on rocks outdoors, looking up at the trees. He appears to be in a park or natural setting within a city.
Yesterday I walked across Montreal. Through markets, galleries, side streets, staircases, and eventually up the mountain. One of my favorite ways to get to know a city is on foot. What’s the longest walk you’ve ever taken just because you were curious where it might lead?
A man takes a selfie in front of a mirror, wearing a black long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and a green baseball cap. He has a beard and is smiling at the camera. The reflection shows a room with artwork and furniture.
Leaving Paris with a long list of places I loved and an even longer list I never would have found by myself. Turns out the best travel guides are people.
A low-angle shot captures the intricate details of a Parisian building, showcasing its classic Haussmannian architecture with ornate balconies and mansard roofs against a cloudy sky.
made it to paris.
If you had five months off, what would you do?
