Is the feeling of impending doom universal? Between the rise of fascism, unbridled climate change, proliferation of AI, and what seems to be a complete lack of empathy around the world, I’m feeling more detached and dejected than ever. The American dream is dead and it feels harder than ever to find a sense of purpose. Can anyone relate? Any tips for maintaining a positive outlook in a dystopian world?
I really want to get up to get a snack but he’s comfortable so I’m stuck.
Don’t go to massive concerts often but this was incredible to experience live.
Favorite activities include: Long walks in Prospect Park, watching movies at Nitehawk, thrifting, museum trips, Hudson Valley day hikes, gardening, game nights, detaching from reality to achieve a brief reprieve from the perpetual existential dread, and eating delicious food.

For an app centered around friendship, I’m a little confused by the emphasis on visual aesthetic. Sense of humor, kindness, intelligence, and shared interests are more important than how you look.
