To everyone at home and abroad protesting this weekend, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and wish you safety and protection as you fight for our freedoms. As we’ve seen in the past weeks and months, the administration will stop at nothing to slowly strip us of our constitutional rights. And although many actions have been blocked by the courts or await the appeals process, we all clearly see our systems of checks and balances being dismantled. This is a process that must be stopped before it’s too late, and our collective actions, whether in person protesting, online activism, providing resources to activists, or simply boycotting corporations who support the administration, time and time again prove that We The People have more power than those in power. They’re afraid of us, and rightfully so. Their actions in the past week prove this to be true. To our friends abroad, thank you for fighting for us when we here at home forget we have power. To our friends protesting in the streets nationwide, may God protect you. Band together, protect each other, show that mercy, kindness, and humanity is still alive and well. We won’t stop fighting for it. Remember who the real enemy is.
