For spooky/dark academia vibes: ‘Rebecca’ or ‘Jamaica Inn’ by Daphne du Maurier; ‘Wuthering Heights’ by Emily Brontë; ‘Mexican Gothic’ by Silvia Moreno-Garcia; ‘The Secret History’ by Donna Tartt

I’d recommend the song of Achilles, it is a historical fiction novel that retells the events of the Trojan War through the eyes of Patroclus, focusing on his loving and intimate relationship with the legendary Greek hero Achilles. The novel follows their lives from their youth, their deep bond as they train together, to the battlefields of Troy. It explores themes of love, fate, fame, and the devastating consequences of war, all centered around their tragic relationship.
