The amount of racism in the gay community is sickening, baby the trans woman who fought for your rights is black. Like we already face more hatecrime & injustice on a regular but to have it from your ” own ” community…

Yes! We have such a long way to go in the community when it comes to intersectional issues and it’s so disappointing because you’d think there would be some understanding

unfortunately being on the margins of society doesn’t mean we aren’t shaped by its ideologies. We still have to do the work.

Yuppppppp that one, it’s hard being black in the queer community I swear like I thought we were supposed to be accepting like legit gay people are oppressed just like black people like why are we being like this?
