A man poses shirtless in front of a mirror, showing off his muscular physique. He is wearing blue underwear and taking a selfie.

Is this text too much for a Grindr profile? Everyone tells me this isn’t the place to find love, but nobody tells me about the places where you will. It feels like an endless game of hide and seek. It’s been so long now that I can’t remember if I’m the one hiding or the one seeking.

Harder you look the less likely you’ll find it! Often it’s better to just be happy in yourself, do what you love, and let it come find you.

It’s a beautiful picture. I think how we curate our profile attracts certain kinds of people though, so I always ask myself what does each picture mean or signal or communicate? I often take off the picture of me shirtless and then it’s only clothed pictures when I want more friendly conversations and just to meet with people without any expectation

when I have a shirtless picture on or when it’s two of them, most of the messages I get are from people who are looking for right now

so end up often changing my profile and also updating my bio and things I’m looking for depending on my mood. Just so I can try to filter as much as possible the people that are not in the same headspace or mood as me
