I have a job that’s mostly remote but my company made an announcement yesterday that everyone in my whole department nationally is going fully remote. It’s so weird that I now can move anywhere in the US without needing to change jobs or lose my current pay. I’ve barely travelled anywhere and have only either lived in NYC or New Jersey. It’s kind of overwhelming but also a ton of motivation for me to go see more places that I might prefer living in.
