We live in a world that forgot how to stop. Maybe the bravest thing isn’t doing more, but allowing yourself to do nothing for a while. Not because there’s nothing to do, but because a mind that’s constantly occupied forgets what silence feels like. Sometimes, the pause is where you find yourself again.

Yep, agreed. I think we overstate the idea of declining attention spans. The bigger issue for me is that we live in a stimulation economy (we just constantly need to be stimulated by something and can’t pause).

@aaron2510 Yes, I completely agree. We’re encouraged to consume more, not create more. And no matter what we achieve, it somehow never feels like enough. The message is always the same: do more, achieve more, consume more. It becomes an endless cycle.
