I reached out to someone who I consider a friend but I’d always been so insecure about how I’d act around them just cause I thought he was so cool. (For good reason) but I believed I wasn’t worth his time and I’d actively avoid reaching out. But it’s funny cause this time I somewhat opened up about that and he was like “I think you’re nice and cool?” LMAO!!?? I laugh because it’s so easy to get in your own head about your idea of what’s going on in other people heads that you prevent yourself from having a good time or making connections. I’ve been saying REPEATEDLY, “you bring the vibe you want to have.” Like if you wanna get freaky then be freaky!! Don’t wait for someone else!! Be the effing vibe!!! Stop complaining about your perception of other people’s ideas about you and simply ask them if you need to! You’d be surprised what you actually DON’T know!
