If you want a comfortable laughing fantasy, go with TJ Klunes “House on the Cerulean Sea, and Somewhere Beyond the sea.” If you want fast mystery/thriller with twists, “The Coworker” was really good. “Clown in the Cornfield” was a fast horror, has 2 sequels. “Starter Villain.” Was funny, witty. Different. Percy Jackson “The Lightning thief,” fast young read, makes you think of Greek gods. “Song of Achilles.” Lovely different tale about him told in his companions perspective. Also makes you want to read more Greek themes.
