Sometimes I feel a resistance to appreciating artists considered to be mainstream, but I stood in front of this Van Gogh for a while at The National Gallery the other day, trying to take it all in. I’m glad I did.

I’m very upset at myself for not checking when the exhibition ended so it sold out in the last weeks and I missed out. Same with the Monet views of the Thames. 🤦‍♂️ I saw the Bacon exhibition thank jeebus, and that was very special.

@justben yeah we actually went in one of the late night slots they opened up later. Was worth the visit for sure but no more than the Bacon one!
