@basile oh thank you 🥰 I think the process with these monoprints is to fully lean into the creation through deletion idea. I’m starting in the black instead of a white page and carving out an image from the darkness. I seem to respond more intuitively to this way of working, actually most of the work I am most proud of only took shape when I started to destroy or change what I have created. I think it’s only when I let go of the fear of ruining something that I can truly make something beautiful. A good analogy for life generally I feel. Fear of change often stops us creating our best life. Hope that answered the question.😄
