This week I’ve been around people a lot : meetings, conversations etc. And today I feel like going out, but alone. Not to talk, not to meet anyone. just to dress up, walk, fancy drink, observe, and be with myself. Like I’m tired of people, but still want to feel the world. Do you ever go out like that?

it’s perfectly normal to need some alone time in order to recharge and prepare to interact with the world again but also having that need to connect since it’s human nature. people are social creatures like aristotle said, so finding a way to balance those two needs is key. you’ll get there! take care. :)

@george_ar From year to year I’m becoming less and less social… so I guess my “balance” is just quietly shifting toward peaceful solitude 😄 At this point Aristotle would probably say: “Man is a social creature… just with longer breaks in between.”

I feel this way frequently, I believe it’s because even when I’m alone I seem to be interacting with others through social media. I never give myself an honest quiet space. In this current environment it’s hard to separate yourself from the noise and embrace moments of silence and solitude. What you’re doing is a healthy outlet and I may take some inspiration from it on my days off 😁
