A group of men lie on mats on the floor, covered in blankets and sleeping bags, in a room with a sloped ceiling and skylight. Tarot cards and a candle are laid out on the floor near the men, suggesting a spiritual or wellness session.

This weekend at The Quiet Barn, I held our first bionic breathwork session for gay, bi, and queer men. It was an honour to hold the space. I watched men arrive, lie down, and let themselves be with each other. Some came in carrying a lot, and what I saw was people breathing, softening, and meeting themselves without judgement or fear. There was a quiet kind of safety in the room, the kind that lets a person stop performing for a while. To everyone who showed up: thank you for trusting me with your breath and your presence. This is only the beginning. #BionicBreathwork #MensWork #LGBTQ
