Not sure what you’re looking for but these are some things I love: -burger at red hook tavern, los tacos, Los mariscos, suteishi sushi -cocktails at dead rabbit, bathtub gin, barely disfigured, or boom boom room -walk through west village and down west side highway, little island or Brooklyn bridge park -pizza at Juliana’s, Roberta’s, Lucali

High line is super fun and I echo @erawn about Brooklyn bridge park. Also same day tickets at tkts for Broadway experiences if you don’t have a specific show in mind

Don’t go to the tourists places try to meet the real city

If you want good views of Statue of Liberty take the free Staten Island Ferry. If you go to the Met, get a drink at Penrose after.
