hey! Did a semester for 3 months in Trastevere, Rome and had a lovely time — beware, can be a little unsafe and homophobic in some areas if you present the wrong way, but a great place overall! If you’re into techno/rave vibes — some good events happen at Forte Antenna and Cieloterra (check Ra.co). I’m not a big foodie, but some favourites were the experimental pizza at Seu Pizza Illuminati (might need a reso, but so worth it!), the classic Roman dishes at Risorante Arco di San Calisto, Gelato at Fata Morgana, and all around the food and experience at La Dispensa Dei Mellini (random spot, but feels like a family cooked the food all for you, and just so yummy!). There are infinite sites to see, but those are up to you, wherever you go will likely be beautiful :) have fun!!
