I’ve noticed something unsettling on this kind of social media: the more feminine 💅 the photo I upload, the fewer likes and less support it receives. The more masculine 💪 I appear, the more validation I get. Are we conscious of what this means? It suggests that we may be participating in a deeply sexist and genuinely homophobic environment, even though many of us are gay ourselves… Definitely worthy of study. 📖
