@dion food: los mariscos - tucked away in chelsea market - great fish and shrimp tacos. pretty inexpensive and amazing fresh juices ayat - bushwick - exceptional palestinian and middle eastern inspired menu - really cheap and BYOB. tokyo record bar - greenwich and west village - amazing concept restaurant - $85 for the full tasting menu but SO worth it. you get to pick a record and then it’s included in the playlist whilst dining - 7 separate dishes and you have to pre book but it’s incredible see no evil pizza - off 50th street - tucked under a subway station. amazing pizza, kinda small but delicious choices and the cocktail list is small but mighty

attractions: guggenheim - reduced cost (around $16) because the spiral staircase is closed for a new installation but it’s a v impressive gallery and just off central park so it’s perfect way to spend an afternoon the met - HUGE ass gallery, could easily do a whole day here. incredible collections in almost everything you can think of - the afrofuturist exhibit is cool (albeit v small) xanadu roller rink - bushwick - good way to spend an evening (little spenny) but v authentic new york style roller rink grand central - cute for a little look around and to take in the scale of it and free! washington sq arch - nice park with lots of blossoming trees and nice place to eat a sweet pastry and take in the fashion of the NYU students and local ppl the high line - start at hudson yards end and walk the whole path (a defunct railway track), free and a great way to spot artwork and iconic buildings. ends at chelsea market which is full of amazing restaurants and fusion food places etc the whitney museum - this was amazing!! and free on friday nights between 5-10pm (100% recommend it) there’s viewing platforms which you can look out at the city from and the exhibitions were amazing brooklyn bridge - get the subway to fulton street and then walk along it (we stopped at variety cafe for amazing coffee to take when we walked across it)
