I met Max 26 years ago in an AOL chat room called “NJGTS” aka New Jersey Gay Teen Scene. We were barely teenagers. Both closeted trying to figure out who we were. And share the same birthday (random fact!) We eventually met up and now fast forward 26 years, he’s one of my oldest and closest friends. We’ve independently traversed the world.
