Y’all love to come to Portugal to spend your free time, saying, “Portugal is amazing, it’s cheap, has good weather, blhblablah.” But in reality, this is far from paradise. I’m hustling to find a new place after being kicked out by the landlord. The rise in prices due to gentrification makes it impossible to live alone or find affordable housing. We’re facing prices like Paris or Berlin but our minimum wage is much lower. If this goes on, locals won’t be able to live here.
