when facing big decisions in life: can we trust that the “right” answer will come / become apparent / reveal itself? 🧐

Eventually I realised it’s not about making a right or wrong decision, it’s about picking one thing and giving it your all to make it a success, it’s ok if others don’t understand your decision, trust in yourself, nothing is more powerful than self belief keep going and you will accomplish

@chrisgardener just to add to this… I always go into choices with this in mind: with the current information I have, I am making the choice that feels right to me. Even after the matter of the fact I try and look back kindly at the decision that I made and say well I did the best I could at the time with the knowledge that was available to me.

@dqantas honestly that voice will always pop into my head from time to time so I completely understand, for me I take a moment have an internal meltdown overthink all the things I could have done differently for about 5 minutes and then start to list everything positive that choosing this path will bring me as long as I keep going forward with it, also be kind to yourself it doesn’t have to be a straight path to your destination take a few detours but always keep that end goal in your view

Big decisions often require taking a step back and a breather. I like to do a sort of cost-benefit analysis, directed by my vision. The voice in your head that second-guesses is due to two things: it is an important, personal decision and it can affect your vision for your future. Big deals! But you can use that voice to your advantage to strategize—what will make sense and be beneficial to you after you make a decision? What trade-offs are you willing to make (short term and long term)? I often think, “If I die today, at least I was on my own path. I’d have done a lot more if death weren’t such an inconsiderate bitch.” Idk if this exactly applies to what you are facing…
