One of my first big moments with McQueen was working with Lenny’s longtime stylist, Rodney. I tracked down this backless jumpsuit literally two days before the Globes and called Rodney and said “I found the look! Is it too late?” And he said no, send it over! Turns out the bottom of the jumpsuit got ran over by something and was completely damaged! But luckily it was so long that it was removed anyway after hemming. Rodney made it work and got Lenny to the red carpet, not realizing that McQueen PR had planned to put the women’s version of the jumpsuit on Emily Blunt 1 or 2 days later.
