Is it more important to be right, or be kind?

To be kind is more important. To compromise kindness to prove that you are correct is an insecurity of one’s self — an insecurity that allows one to be unkind to one’s self and others.

It depends on the situation. If it’s going to cause hurt unnecessarily then I think being kind over being right

Kind, all the way. Kindness is in the person, being right is on the ego.

Sometimes being right matters, but kindness makes being right meaningful.

kindness is everything but in majority situations being right is imperative in-terms of factuality and what are the things leading to something having to be morally right, vs choosing kindness where that may lead to short-term happiness however being right in the long-term will always lead to inner peace and ease of mind. hehe just my take tho xoxo

I think that’s one of the strangest things about losing someone who is still alive. Nothing disappears all at once. The person leaves first. The habits take longer. The conversations you continue inside your head take even longer. And the future might be the last thing to leave. I don’t only miss you. I miss things that never even happened. Trips we talked about but never took. Summers we never reached. Ordinary Sundays. Getting older. Going to the swimming pool, just the two of us Spending one New Year’s Eve together.
