Yesterday was one of those days I know I’ll never forget. I decided to shave my head because I didn’t want to wait for chemo to take my hair from me. My brother shaved his head too, and all my friends came to be there with me.
It was emotional and scary, but having all of them by my side made such a huge difference. They turned a moment I was dreading into something I’ll always remember with a lot of love.
My hair will grow back, the sun will shine again, and this will all be behind me someday. Fuck cancer.
