I think our language is really restricted in describing the different kinds of love we might experience within our lifetime. There is so much more than "romantic love".

@lopez I think a combination of many things, for example compatibility and commitment, deciding for each other daily and taking responsibility for each other‘s well-being :)

You might call that love all together though, that’s fair! Then love is not a feeling, but something two people build

I’d go as far as to say: There is nothing real but true love. Even love at first sight is just us dreaming about true love, seeking reality.
