A close-up shot of a printmaking plate with ink applied, showing a detailed etching of a torso. The artist's caption describes the inking process as an artistic element where ink is selectively wiped away to create highlights and shadows.

And now the inking, which might actually be the most artistic part. It's not only the lines that are descriptive; I can selectively wipe away highlights and leave in shadows by choosing what ink to leave behind.
