Love yourself the way you would love others

Therapy, also the phone camera is always a bitch, most of my clients are plastic surgerons, dermatologists and aestheticians all of them explained that is true that we all look better on the mirror than on camera. And recently I discovered that actually If you wanna look a little closer to how you look on the mirror, when you’re using your front camera you need to step back from your phone and zoom in a little or as much as you want. And the zoom will help to your features adjust the optics as the same as how you look in the real reflection of the mirror and not the distortion of the camera. Sadly cameras distortion our bodies and faces more than mirrors. Other thing that I struggled a lot with for a long time was of abusing o filters. 😩 Now I look to my old pictures and I’m ashamed of that I can’t even recognize myself and I obviously say why I posted that before.

it’s not just about loving urself and that sh*. What have help me get through this is becoming aware of myself; reed, analyze and understand your body and the way you express yourself in general but mostly about you. I used to put my phone recording in any place i was (mostly in my home) while dancing, cleaning my room, during skincare and bath routines and then rewatching this I could actually see how i look normally, while i’m being just me. i don’t know but that helped to change the vision of myself as an object but as an actual body that can do incredible things for me, even when i didn’t like what i saw, i could understand my body. you can actually do that with a lot of things you’re insecure about yourself. i used to speak alone about any topic im interested about or just practice speech and watched the way i look expressing myself, that REALLY changed my life.

Therapy helps a lot!! But an exercise I learned was to star yourself in the mirror for at least half an hour, naked preferably, so that you can star to despersonalize your own reflactioj and actually see that reflection as someone new. You’ll lose the grip of your own judgments and see yourself kinda as a stranger passing by and realize you probably wouldn’t be as harsh to someone as you are to yourself etc. you are gorgeous king. And it all comes down to realizing you are worthy of love independent of your body’s shape. The body is just a vessel always remember that. Stay good and healthy ❤️ ❤️

Let’s remind ourselves we’re not born to please others, be admired by others or look in a way that makes strangers want to have sex with us. Your worth has nothing to do with how many men want to have sex with a (virtual) version of you. You are not pornography, your existence does not depend on other men‘s horniness. Our meat market capitalism will eventually backfire on everyone, as every body ages, every body looses their sexual appeal to the masses. If you build your worth on the outreach of your naked body, you are going to loose. And don’t forget attractiveness is not even objective. I and my friends find entirely different people very attractive, and there is no way to appeal to everyone. Appeal to yourself first. You’re the only human you have full custody for in this life, so treat him well. Become the person you want to be for yourself. And then choose people in your life that love you for who are 🫶
