after finishing uni, I slowly realised that infatuation is never a good sign nor can it be mistaken for love. I realise that genuine feelings are the ones that are very slowly developing and latent, feel light and kinda… boring and mundane sometimes? Idealisation and deception can go both ways, so I am wary of quickly developing things. Sometimes I actively hold myself back from falling in love, just to check that I like a person for who they are not who I think they are or would like them to be
