In NY!! It’s very surreal being here for my first time. There is a lot of pressure to “get it” to like, feel what people feel. There is an imposing force that I feel being here I still haven’t really distilled or understood yet. I think it’s because I am a California girl from the bay! BUT I’m gonna live my New York fantasy, the Kelela album couldn’t have been more perfectly timed for this impromptu trip.
