REAL TALK #12 "Gay men like to keep it casual. They tell themselves they prefer things light: casual dates, no labels, no pressure. It looks like freedom, but it also stops anyone from getting too close. The reason: closeness still feels tied to rejection. Keeping things casual protects them from risking vulnerability and from letting someone see the parts of them they still fear are not good enough. I'm over this. I have done my homework. Talking to guys who haven't frustrates me, cause I know that I can't do their homework for them."

Moments which leave room for the needs of both (or more) persons involved at the same time, synchronously, without any hierarchy. Pretty pleasant moments. REAL TALK #11 "I am poor at the moment. It sucks. I have to operate on a shoestring. The budget is not enough to have a healthy meal each day. However, I try to keep my dignity and autonomy. Therefore, I try to cover up my misery as long as its possible. I do not want to be looked down upon. Life is not fair sometimes, but I will get through this. What do you cover up?"
