In my free time I'm making art, the rest of the time art is making me.

“ainda dói” unfolds at a moment when the pains — dotted, embroidered, and marked by the observers — became increasingly perceptible, almost tangible. my work, symbolically, now writhes in pain. ❤️‍🩹
“ainda dói” by Victor Fío, 2025 — Embroidery on gauze, 300 cm x 58 cm. For this new occupation, ainda dói was expanded. The installation, once 160 cm long, gained a 140 cm gauze quilt. Over 700 pieces of gauze were hand-stitched, forming the work’s emotional archive, which now extends to 3 meters.
Can’t hide — and honestly don’t even want to — how happy I am with the second vernissage of my exhibit “Ciclos de Travessias Para Não Caminhar Só.” ✨
Another vernissage happening — 2025, you truly are something special!! 🥹🧡
[A bottled sun] — The sunrise, when the sun is bottled, is quite painful, isn’t it?
Núcleo de Artes Visuais, September 2025— thread of thoughts.
Well, it has been a while since last underwear mirror pic.
My routine has been so chaotic that it’s been a while since last time i could actually spend some time diving into my readings — i miss that.

This week marks a month since our exhibition opened, and I can only be grateful for all the support we have receiving since then — This is me getting my piece ready for day 1 ✨
The Lover — 🫀🌱
Hey y’all 😉
“ainda dói” — “It still hurts” in english — embroidered by me on my tux for the opening night.
Artist talk at the opening of my art exhibit ✨
Yesterday was the opening of my first exhibit with my art collective — Y’all have no idea how happy I am.
These past two weeks have been crazy. Finally, today, I'm having some time to breathe, but still heheh, although I'm happy with everything that's happening, I'm just physically tired. 🌱
“Sufocar-te” by Victor Fío, at FIG 2025, Sesc Garanhuns — What an honor! ✨
SUFOCAR-TE, art performance by me — Victor Fío — at Festival de Inverno de Garanhuns, July 2025.
I had my art performance “Sufocar-te” presented yesterday as one of the opening acts at the biggest festival in my city — I’M SO FREAKING HAPPY 🥹
The sun is out but still hella cold here 🥶 — better put some t on 😌
Lots of things to do. Getting a bit stressed lately 🙃 — but things are working fine!!

What was I looking at?
Combien de temps dure l’éternité? — From a series of mixed media works about love and how society is built up to perceive it. So, “how long does eternity last?”
Combien de temps dure l’éternité? — This piece is part of an ongoing project I’m developing, a series of mixed media works about love and how society is built up to perceive it. So, “how long does eternity last?”
Today I wrote another poem — Do you guys often voice what you’re feeling? Over the yrs I’ve learned how necessary it is to let things fall back into place. So I say it, write it, draw it, paint it and I often cry it too. Its all part of the process. It just can’t stay inside — things like that rot.
lazy lazy sunday — 📸
Today was classic movie day at the cinema 🎥 🍿
🌱 — It has been a while since y’all have seen my face here.
Have you guys ever tried to draw with the left hand? — If you’re not used to it, I mean. But if you are, try with the right one — It’s so freeing! That exercise I proposed to my art collective, as a warm up, in a way of exploring the precision of not being precise about the things you see. ✏️
Warm up, Art Collective ✏️ — Drawing with the left hand is definitely one of the most fun things I like to do, and yet it put us to work and explore new aspects of our drawing line and perception of things around us.
Daido Moriyama 📸 — Daido Moriyama’s black and white photography is something else — raw, gritty, and full of life. He really has a way of capturing those fleeting, everyday moments, especially in the backstreets of Tokyo. His photos aren’t about perfection, but that’s kind of the point.
Messy, messy, messy.
Just built my new scketchbook from scratch, based on a junk journal structure, and y’all have no idea how fun it was to create this little creature cover for it 🧚🏽‍♂️🪲✨

I’m more of a briefs guy but sometimes boxers do just justice to it!
