@vinimarques I would recommend you guys to go to the northeast of Brazil. if you guys are able to spend a little bit more, Fernando de Noronha is an AMAZING option. it is an island! however, there are also some nice options in the continent: Morro de São Paulo (Bahia), Caraíba (Bahia), São Miguel do Gostoso (Rio Grande do Norte)… There are many more!

@lico What would you say is difference in vibe from Trancoso and Buzios?

@vinimarques Trancoso has a relaxed, boho-chic vibe with untouched beaches, charming boutique hotels and a slower pace. It’s all about understated luxury and a connection with nature. Buzios is more vibrant and sophisticated. There’s a lively nightlife, upscale restaurants and diverse beaches - some of them are secluded as well. It still has a laid-back coastal feel, but it offers more amenities.

@vinimarques there are these two I’ve stayed at and highly recommend: Le Relais La Borie or Vila da Santa Hotel Boutique & Spa. They’re phenomenally brilliant. Great service, a lot of privacy and a great range of amenities. You’re really well taken care of by the staff.

Natal is really good. Nice beaches, less crowd and cheaper as fuck compared to Rio or São Paulo. At Natal, don't miss the restaurants "Camarões" (shrimps) and Manary (this one in particular at a fancy hotel's pool area is a must). From Natal, you can go to Pipa. It's in a neighbor state, not so far from, a little expensive compared to Natal but still cheap. It's a paradise. Really, just check it out in google. With some luck, you can swim with dolphins. I've never been able to, went there three times. My mom went there only one and was lucky enough, bitch xD Also, the Paulo's recommendation about Paraty is REALLY good. Also cheaper compared to Rio, good for boat tours, food, cozy vibe. I used to live in Rio and at some time, I was going to Paraty once per year. Totally worth it. Also, in Rio's region, I'd recommend Petropolis. That's on the mountains, one day is enough to be out of Rio's chaos, breath a fresher air at a lower-paced city with nice vibes and buildings.

@philmonteiro Wow thank you so much for writing all that. Would you have any favorite hotels in those places that you’d recommend?

@vinimarques well, tbh I don't recall mostly and I've been a low cost travel. At Natal, I know that the Manary Hotel (which hosts the mentioned restaurant) is a good one. At Pipa, I stayed at the "Pousada Tartaruga" (Turtle Inn) but you can find lots of fancy places there with awesome service. Same thing about Paraty: don't be afraid to look for the fanciest places, you won't be disappointed. And about Petropolis, well, my mom lives there so I never needed a place to stay 🤣 But as far as I can remember, the "Casa Blanca" ones are the best.
