Very strange but it’s true: I met up with a white LA guy on Grindr cuz he’s in the same food hall as me. I know Grindr conversations are perceived to be sexually charged but this one is so wholesome. I came over and said hi and we started talking. It was wonderful to talk to him about my thoughts on Toronto and quickly we exchanged pretty serious thoughts. We then went our separate ways. This encounter is memeorable because it happened so organically and was not sexually charged at all. It’s simply two human beings from the same community having what is probably a one-time serious conversation. I try to be spontaneous and let my instincts dictate :) I’ve realized that I’m lonely in the sense that my loneliness comes from an insufficient amount of interactions that cover topics that speak to the deepest part of my mind: friendships, adulting and relationships.
