hunn
Blue Shirt, Blue skies
Blue Heart, louder cries.
323; possibilities.
Forgot to lean on, opened the door
Been aeons, stumbled on the floor
Shedding layers of shame
Maybe when we’re done, we’ll smell the same.
Skin to skin,
heart to heart,
Two stories wide apart.
So, we lay together,
Smiling, head to toe shattered.
Dreaming, of making this forever.
Forever?
Like nothing else matters.
Two stories apart.
Stoned people with stoned hearts.
Crippled feelings, leaving scars.
Soon, we’ll say goodbye.
“Just a couple of months, he’ll move on.”
Everything’ll be alright.
He has everything, all’s proved on.
Now, we lie together.
Head to heart shattered.
Used to dream, being together for ever?
Forever.
Nothing else truly mattered.
This isn’t poetry.
Poetry isn’t this.
