Quick question: If I came out to my cousin in a text, do I have to come out to rest of my fam-aunts, uncles, cousins etc.?

You certainly don’t *have to.* Assuming you’re ok with them knowing, you can treat it like other good news (a promotion, engagement, etc.) and reach out individually to those you’re excited to share it with, and everyone else can find out one way or another eventually 🙂

Thanks and already told my aunt that I’m a lesbian! I guess I will tell the other people in my family eventually.

Better to do that on your own terms and pace.

You get to choose who you come out too and when, that said once you tell one family member if you don’t let them know you want to tell others in person they might get there before you without you realising it wasn’t what you wanted

I came out to my Dad, it didn’t go well. I will keep my sexual orientation to myself from now on

Nope. Your life. Your tea to spill. And if the pot is just fine as it is. Don’t bother spilling.

Nope. It’s your story to tell at your pace and no one else’s.
