Gay/man/cis dating is such bullshit, tbh. I’ve never been so bored in my life because I feel like men are all working from the same algorithm. I don’t understand this app either. Is human personality not a thing anymore? Because I keep asking myself: what are you going to do with all those muscles if, in the end, you need a reality check? You still have to earn money, you still have to see people, you still have to go through all this shit. You set the highest standards, but what’s behind all that empty persistence? It feels like everyone came from the same factory. Why do we see everyone as a sex function? What an empty society we’re living in

There are still things I want to tell you. Small things, mostly. A plant I finally learned the name of. Something stupid one of my cats did. A sentence I heard on the street that would have made you laugh. A tree somewhere in Berlin carrying fruit, the kind we would have stopped to inspect as if discovering it ourselves. Sometimes something happens and my first thought is still: I have to tell you this. And for one tiny second, you still exist exactly where you used to. Then I remember.
