I’ve been out of social media for months. Well not exactly. I opened my own café which has been the most fun, challenging, rewarding and exhausting period of my life. I went from being in front of a computer all day to cleaning painting washing cooking serving and then woodwork at night. I already had very little time for social media but then also I had to create an IG account for the cafe which took the remaining time slot. And then something interesting happened. The algorithm was completely different for the new account. Instead of all the crazy hot gays that each time becomes even more surreal (I almost can’t tell if they are already AI) All of a sudden instead I get ART. So many good ideas. Cooking recipes, coffee matcha and tea recipes, furniture, architecture and goofy cute jokes about working in service. It’s like the intensity of social media went down by 1000 times and now is so chill. Continues on next post.
