A hand holds a book titled "My Year of Rest and Relaxation" by Ottessa Moshfegh. The book cover features a painting of a woman in a white dress and has bold pink text for the title.
books like these are the reason i don’t trust the reviews on the front and back covers of books. this could’ve been 200 pages shorter and it would’ve been just as “witty” and “savage” in its “critique” of privilege. what an absolute waste of trees to print this. the only thing slightly less upsetting is that i spent MONEY on it.
