An abstract art installation featuring hanging glass bulbs. The bulbs are filled with a yellow liquid, creating a visually striking and thought-provoking display.

Currently obsessed with Hamid Butt’s “Familiars”. These glass bulbs contain chlorine gas - they’re beautiful, delicate and potentially deadly if they broke. An abstract summoning of the trepidation around HIV/AIDS, which he died of in 1994.

I saw this exhibition too, it was very powerful and poignant. He could have been huge, it was a giant loss to us all to lose him so young.
